An Assigned Area is a hyperlocal area within your agencies jurisdiction. Assigned Areas break up a department’s jurisdiction into smaller, more specific areas such as zones, beats, districts, or precincts. You can be subscribed to only one Assigned Area at a time. Local agency users may select the Assigned Area they would like to subscribe to by following the instructions below.
How to Select an Assigned Area
1. Click the profile icon in the menu bar and click Assigned Areas
2. From the list on the left, click the Assigned Area you would like to subscribe to. The selected Assigned Area will be reflected on the map on the right.
